Fantastic Fireworks at WLSC

Hi All,

What an explosive bonfire party we had at WLSC. The bonfire was enormous and
the fireworks where fantastic with lots of oohs and aaahs from the
considerable crowd. The food was excellent, I especially enjoyed the apple
crumble. Eleanor’s home made toffee apples were a lovely treat. There was
even a cake to celebrate our hard working secretary, Lesley’s, birthday. The
lovely clear evening helped to ensure that there was a terrific turnout for
the evening.

I’d just like to thank everyone who helped out, both at the work party which
did a great job of tidying up the club and building the towering bonfire and
also on the night. David Holloway and his pyromaniac team did a great job
with the fireworks. Hilary Kelly and her gorgeous galley team sorted out the
scrummy food. Charles and Lesley kept us all on the straight and narrow to
ensure all the jobs got done and that the evening was a huge success.

Here’s looking forward to another bonfire bash in a years time.

Regards,

Morgan
