The boats we sail
At Wraysbury we sail any type of dinghy. Although the size of the lake does not make us particularly suited to the top performance trapeze and spinnaker boats, there is still a very wide choice available.
Our four most popular classes are organised into fleets for one-design racing and are:
Enterprise - a two man dinghy excellently suited to inland waters.
Solo - a single hander also well suited to our lake
Laser - a popular single hander sailed from club level to Olympic standard
Optimist - a single handed dinghy for youngsters from 5 to 15

All other types of centreboard dinghies are welcome to sail and/or race in our handicap series. We currently have sailing at the club: Wayfarer, Bosun, RS 200, Sport 14, National 12, Byte CII, Topaz, Comet, Mirror, Topper and others.
New to sailing and not sure which boat would suit your needs? Pop in and see us one Sunday lunchtime and talk to one of our sailirs. Then, as a member, you can try one of our club boats for a while and make sure which is the one for you before you set out to buy one.
