Dragon Boats at Wraysbury
The Club was looking very beautiful as the Dragon sailors from team GB arrived with their support staff of Coaches, rescuer boat/drivers, sport therapists/physiotherapist’s, team builders & video equipment to analysis rowing technique. In total 22 crew each in two Dragon boats making a total of 54.
The format was team building, warm up exercises , 3x 1 hour practice session, warm downs & then video analysis & technique.
Our club house worked well as they were able to split into 2 teams for training.
On The lake they practiced key things like starts, turning, turning at speed, sprinting, 1500 races, all of which looked very paddle co-ordinated.
